Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of BI or analytics development experience with strong Power BI expertise.
• Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL for optimized data models.
• Experience leading end-to-end BI solution design and governance.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and data integration principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Power BI datasets, dataflows, and semantic models.
• Lead data modeling and performance tuning across analytics projects.
• Implement advanced DAX calculations, reusable measures, and efficient report designs.
• Oversee governance, version control, and deployment processes for BI assets.
• Collaborate with Data Engineer to ensure seamless integration between pipelines and reports.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop automation and CI/CD processes for BI releases.
• Establish coding and documentation standards for analytics development.
• Evaluate new BI tools, features, and best practices to improve efficiency.
• Build reusable templates and frameworks to support enterprise reporting.
• Manage permissions, data access, and security configurations within Power BI.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization across environments.
• Mentor Analytics Developers and contribute to team skill development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align analytics delivery with strategic goals.
• Document data models, logic, and dependencies for operational continuity.
