Job summary

iA Financial Group in Canada seeks a Senior Advisor, Benefits and Retirement to analyze and harmonize benefits during transactions and HR integrations.

You will lead scenarios for harmonization and work with the modeling team to support informed decisions, coordinating with English-speaking partners in the US as needed.

Qualifications

• Has at least 5 years of relevant experience in employee benefits and retirement programs.
• Demonstrates strong analytical skills to transform complex data into clear findings, structured recommendations, and decision-support scenarios.
• Is proficient in advanced analytical tools, particularly Excel, and is comfortable with cost modeling and impact assessment.
• Is capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and coordinating the work of stakeholders in a matrix structure.
• Demonstrates sound judgment, autonomy, and rigor in managing strategic projects with ambiguity.
• Possesses excellent communication and analytical skills for influencing decisions.
• Knowledge of Workday is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in English for collaboration with English-speaking partners (notably in the US).

Responsibilities

• Analyze targeted entities' benefits and retirement programs for harmonization.
• Produce assessments and recommendations to support M&A decisions.
• Develop scenarios for harmonizing programs and define transition action plans.
• Assess impacts on employees, managers, costs, and operations.
• Lead integration activities for group insurance, retirement, and paid leave programs.
• Identify integration risks and propose mitigations.
• Collaborate with Global Compensation and centers of expertise; develop tools and templates for HR FAI practice.
