Job summary

BeachHead Inc. is seeking a Senior Business & Technology Project Manager to lead large-scale banking initiatives for a major financial client in Toronto.

You will manage complex, high-visibility programs with budgets over $130M in 2026, guiding data modernization, digital transformation, and regulatory compliance. You will drive delivery in hybrid, Agile and traditional models, manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and vendor engagements, and communicate with executives to ensure regulatory

Qualifications

• Experience managing large, high-profile banking projects.
• Own budgets from budgeting milestones up to multi-million-dollar programs.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and executive communication.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, governance and delivery frameworks.
• Knowledge of data pipelines and enterprise data management is a plus.
• Vendor management in complex enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with Canadian banking regulatory initiatives is beneficial.
• PM certifications like PMP or CSM are a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex banking projects with minimal supervision.
• Manage scopes, schedules, resources, and budgets including forecasts.
• Communicate effectively with executives, stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Oversee vendor engagements and ensure contractual commitments.
• Understand architectures, infrastructure, and integration points.
• Drive delivery in hybrid, Agile and traditional models.
• Manage data modernization initiatives and pipelines.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, dependencies; escalate as needed.
• Ensure regulatory compliance within Canadian banking rules.
• Foster cross-team collaboration and accountability.
