Job summary

National Bank of Canada is seeking a Senior Banking Advisor to deliver people-centred service to branch clients and support colleagues across investment, mortgage financing, and other areas. You’ll resolve complex client needs, advise on personal and small business solutions, and help with mortgage renewals and estate planning.

Qualifications

• Hold a college diploma (DEC) or equivalent.
• Hold a mutual fund representative (MFR) licence.
• Advisory service experience, inclusive attitude and openness to diversity.
• Comfortable sharing knowledge and helping colleagues develop their skills.

Responsibilities

• Listen to clients’ needs and resolve highly complex situations.
• Give advice and offer appropriate solutions for Personal and Small Business clients to meet transaction, investment, personal financing, mortgage renewal, and estate planning needs.
• Support clients through mortgage renewal or renegotiation process.
• Participate in the development of branch colleagues.
• Ensure client satisfaction and engagement, and serve as a reference point.
• Ensure adherence to compliance and risk management rules.
