Job description

A career as a Senior Banking Advisor at National Bank offers a diverse role that enables you to pursue your ambitions and positively impact your clients and colleagues. With your banking expertise, you will provide a people-centric experience to branch clients and serve as a resource for your colleagues. This position is located in St. Albert.

Your job:
  1. Deliver outstanding customer experiences at every interaction and implement plans to enhance the client experience.
  2. Advise and offer suitable solutions for Personal and Small Business clients to address their transaction, investment, personal financing, mortgage renewal, insurance, and estate planning needs.
  3. Proactively identify customer needs to uncover opportunities, referring clients to Account Managers as appropriate.
  4. Build lasting business relationships and assist clients in understanding banking products, fostering enthusiasm and genuine engagement.
  5. Ensure compliance with risk management and regulatory rules.
  6. Participate in the development and training of your branch colleagues.
Your team:

You will report to the Manager of Sales & Service within the Personal Banking Sector and be part of a team committed to delivering exceptional client service. Our team is known for its focus on client experience and teamwork. We provide comprehensive training and development opportunities, including on-the-job learning and access to a wide range of resources and expertise. After gaining experience, numerous advancement opportunities are available, including promotions and internal mobility.

Work environment:

The St. Albert branch operates Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Prerequisites:
  • Some post-secondary education in business, finance, marketing, or equivalent.
  • 1 to 2 years of customer service experience preferred.
  • An inclusive attitude, positive demeanor, and empathy for clients.
  • Interest in technology and ability to share knowledge effectively.
  • Adaptability to various situations.
