Job summary

Comm100 is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (.NET) to design, implement and maintain high-quality backend services and APIs that power our customer conversations. You will own features from design to deployment and collaborate with Product, QA and other teams to deliver scalable solutions.

You will work with SQL databases, optimize performance and contribute to architecture discussions while exploring AI-powered development tools to accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET / .NET Core and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience with Entity Framework.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills, including database design and performance optimization.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, software design principles and software architecture.
• Experience building web applications, APIs and backend services.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a genuine interest in understanding how systems work.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with other engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to share knowledge with others.
• Experience working on large-scale or high-concurrency applications is a strong plus.
• Experience with AI-powered development tools or AI-driven technologies is a strong plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.

• Keep learning and experimenting with new technologies, frameworks and engineering approaches.
