You will design scalable architectures using Java, Play, Scala, and modern data stores, balancing hands-on coding with technical leadership in a fast-moving environment and collaborating across product and engineering teams to shape the roadmap.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a software engineering role.
• Experience designing highly-scalable microservices and storage layers.
• Proficient with Java, Play, Scala and data stores (MySQL, Cassandra, Solr).
• Experience with fast-moving teams and frequent deployments.
• Strong data-driven decision making for technical and product outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable systems and infrastructures supporting backend services.
