Job summary

AppDirect, Inc is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join the Tackle Engineering team in Montreal. You will craft scalable backend systems and APIs, deploy services on AWS, and contribute to a cloud-first platform that powers subscriptions across multiple channels.

You will own features end-to-end, participate in code reviews, and mentor juniors in a hybrid work environment. Strong Go and AWS skills are required, with a focus on reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience building modern, scalable, high-performing backend services.
• Experience deploying applications and managed services within AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions).
• Deep knowledge of DynamoDB NoSQL and PostgreSQL relational databases.
• Experience with building RESTful APIs and microservice event-driven design.
• Familiarity with AWS CDK, Terraform or similar IaC tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication for distributed teams.
