Job summary

Docebo, a leader in AI-powered learning platforms, is seeking a backend engineer to architect, build, and scale enterprise-grade systems in Go and PHP. You will mentor teammates, drive multi-sprint initiatives, and partner with Product and Design to shape the roadmap while ensuring high performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of software engineering experience with Go and PHP.
• Experience designing scalable microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi-sprint technical initiatives from spark to deployment, managing scope and risks.
• Architect scalable backend services using Go, PHP, AWS, Kubernetes, and databases for millions of users.
• Write clean Go and maintain PHP services, improving core architecture.
• Conduct code reviews, lead design discussions, document architectures, and define SLOs to reduce incidents.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with Product/Design to shape the roadmap.
• Address Tier-1 escalations and tech debt while troubleshooting issues across the stack.
