Job summary

Recrute Action in Toronto, Ontario, seeks a Lead Java Developer to lead a dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong leadership background, extensive hands-on Java and Microservices experience, and cloud expertise with Azure or AWS to drive design and delivery.

You will mentor engineers, own solution architecture, implement RESTful APIs, and guide DevOps practices with CI/CD tooling. Experience with IAM/CIAM standards (SAML, OAuth, OIDC, RBAC, LDAP) and security

Qualifications

• 9+ years hands-on Java development with at least 3+ years in team lead roles.
• Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and JBoss.
• Strong experience with Azure (preferred) or AWS and cloud services.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience delivering CIAM solutions and IAM standards (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, RBAC, LDAP, Kerberos).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of developers; provide guidance and coaching.
• Design and develop scalable applications using Java and microservices.
• Implement and support RESTful APIs and microservices in Java or Node.js.
• Drive DevOps practices with CI/CD pipelines and toolchains.
• Coordinate with security teams on IAM standards and CIAM initiatives.
• Own solution design and act as a technical SME across domains.
