Java Fullstack Lead

The company seeks a technology lead who will shape the future of our Java applications. The role will interface with key stakeholders, leveraging deep technical expertise across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Responsibilities include requirements elicitation, application architecture definition, design, high‑level design creation, code for assigned modules, lead validation efforts for all testing phases, and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. The role requires a learning culture that values teamwork, collaboration, excellence, diversity, and respect.

The position may require travel. The job entails sitting and working at a computer for extended periods of time, and communication may be by telephone, email, or face to face.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga/ Toronto, Ontario or willing to relocate. Travel may be required.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience may be substituted for every year of education.
• Minimum 6 years of full‑stack development experience with strong focus on Java and Angular.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying robust web applications.
• Authorized to work in Canada without employer‑based visa sponsorship. Immigration sponsorship is not provided.
• At least 6 years of full‑stack web development (preferred).
• At least 5 years of experience with Java, Spring Boot.
• At least 5 years of experience with front‑end development using Angular 11 or above.
• Good experience in project life‑cycle activities on development projects.
• Experience with automation and performance testing relevant to development is a plus.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
• Experience in Telecom domain.
• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
• In‑depth knowledge of back‑end development using Java, Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC), Hibernate, JPA, and J2EE principles.
• Expertise in front‑end development using Angular 11 or above. Experience with other versions is also considered.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming concepts like RxJS.
• Strong hands‑on experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less).
• Proven ability to build responsive web applications that adapt across devices (desktop, mobile).
• Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies (CI/CD pipelines, containerization) is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a cross‑functional team.
• A passion for building user‑centric and high‑quality web applications.

Compensation

Ontario: $92,740 to $123,375 per year.
