Job Description

As a Senior Back-End Developer, you’ll be at the center of ShareGate Protect’s AI initiatives. In a small, fast-moving squad, you’ll explore new ideas, build prototypes, and help shape how AI is integrated into our products.

Your work will bridge experimentation and production, ensuring that high-potential concepts evolve into robust solutions. This is a unique opportunity to influence both the product and our future best practices, with direct impact on thousands of users.

Responsibilities:

• Explore promising ideas and rapidly build prototypes to test different technologies.
• Work in a small squad with a strong experimentation mindset and fast iteration cycles.
• Operate with a trial-and-error approach, treating every attempt as a learning opportunity.
• Take calculated risks, gather feedback early, and adjust solutions to maximize impact.
• Collaborate closely with developers, data scientist, data engineer, product manager, and designer.
• Guide the technical implementation of experiments, bridging exploration and industrialization.
• Identify high-potential ideas and select the right technologies to bring them to production.

You will join a multidisciplinary squad composed of two software developers, a data engineer, a data scientist, a software development manager, a product manager, and a product designer.

• Balancing rapid experimentation with industrialization rigor.
• Selecting the right technologies to support AI-driven features.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in full-stack development, ideally in a product-oriented environment
• Experience using AI tools as part of daily software development work
• Strong proficiency in C#/.NET backend and knowledge in React (TypeScript) frontend development
• Ability to take AI prototypes beyond proof-of-concept into production
• Strong knowledge of database design, modeling, and scalable schema creation
