Job summary

SimCorp is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to be embedded in an Azure-focused area, ensuring reliability, performance, and automation for SaaS clients. You will work with engineers, clients, and stakeholders to drive stability and platform evolution across Azure-based environments.

The role emphasizes incident management, configuration, and automation within a hybrid policy, supporting both on-site and remote work. A strong SRE background with cloud engineering is essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in Site Reliability, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering roles.
• Expertise with Microsoft Azure; AWS exposure is helpful.
• Proficiency in IaC using Terraform; experience with Bicep/ARM/Ansible is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provisioning, configuring, and managing Azure resources (VMs, Storage, VNets).
• Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and workloads.
• Support operation and enhancement of mission-critical environments for new and existing clients.
• Align client requirements to platform capabilities; contribute to platform evolution.
• Manage infrastructure deployment pipelines and troubleshoot onboarding and operational issues.
• Implement scalable, secure Azure architectures tailored to business needs.
• Configure and support third-party software (e.g., IDP, SFTP) in client environments.
• Understand VPN, VNet and Private Link concepts.
• Migrate on-premises services to Azure-based solutions.
• Execute disaster recovery, configuration management, and infrastructure readiness tasks.
• Contribute to incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Provide weekend or on-call support as needed.
• Collaborate in Agile teams and participate in design discussions with clients.
