Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a senior platform engineer who will own the Azure-based infrastructure that supports our product engineering teams. You will manage the Azure estate using Bicep, lead production AKS, and drive identity and audit controls across SOC 2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001 frameworks.

This role emphasizes cross-region resilience, data residency, and scalable design. You will collaborate with product teams early in design, implement cost-aware patterns, and lead the platform’s response

Qualifications

• 5+ years operating Azure in production with compliance obligations.
• Hands-on AKS experience—upgrades, networking, autoscaling, and debugging.
• Entra ID/Azure AD administration including RBAC, PIM, and workload identity.
• Demonstrated role in SOC 2, HIPAA, or ISO 27001 audits as a technical expert.

Responsibilities

• Own infrastructure as code in Bicep, deployed via pipelines with peer review.
• Operate production AKS end-to-end including upgrades and autoscaling.
• Manage identity and access with Entra ID for engineering teams.
• Lead platform responses during SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001 audits and encode controls as Azure Policy.
