TD Bank Group in Toronto, Ontario, is seeking an Associate Vice President, Product & Underwriting for Small Business Insurance to lead product and underwriting strategies across Commercial Property, Casualty, and Automobile.

You will shape the SBI product roadmap, oversee pricing, risk governance, and collaborate with pricing, actuarial, risk, and legal teams, while building a high-performing, inclusive team focused on profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in General Insurance with SBI knowledge.
• Proven ability to develop and execute product and underwriting strategies.
• Understanding of actuarial pricing, risk governance, and regulatory requirements.

Responsabilités

• Define and execute the Product and Underwriting strategy and roadmap for Commercial Automobile and Commercial Property & Liability.
• Lead development of new products and assess the portfolio for growth and profitability.
• Monitor market trends and translate insights into strategic decisions.
• Own policy wordings and provide coverage interpretation to partners.
• Establish underwriting rules aligned with risk appetite and pricing strategies.
• Oversee referrals, renewals, and large accounts; ensure timely decisions.
• Maintain regulatory filings and collaborate with Pricing, Actuarial, Risk, Legal, Distribution.
