Job summary

Coulson Aviation is seeking a Senior Avionics Technician to lead and mentor a high-performing team in Canada, USA, Australia, and Chile. You will oversee avionics maintenance, troubleshoot complex systems, and provide expert guidance to ensure airworthiness and regulatory compliance during fleet operations.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and technical excellence, with a focus on coordinating cross-functional teams and maintaining rigorous safety standards across multiple aircraft

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in avionics maintenance, troubleshooting, and system integration.
• Proven leadership or strong desire to mentor and develop a high-performing technical team.
• Ability to bridge avionics theory and practical application for junior technicians and apprentices.
• Extensive background in working with sophisticated aircraft electronics, ensuring safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct technician workflows and mentor apprentice AMEs and entry-level personnel.
• Provide technical guidance to assigned technicians to ensure maintenance excellence.
• Coordinate with inter-departmental teams to organize and control workflow for maximum efficiency.
• Ensure regulatory compliance by verifying that all technical paperwork and certifications are completed.
