Job description

Avionics Technician

TARCG is delighted to be supporting a leading organisation in the aerospace industry, on their search for an Avionics Technician to join their team.

This is a full-time site-based role in Montreal, well suited to a candidate with 5 years hands‑on experience as an avionics technician, ideally working on business aircraft types. You will be reporting to the Avionics Supervisor.

Shift flexibility: a rotation of 14 days over three weeks, which can be either day or evening shifts, depending on your needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute avionics maintenance and modifications on aircraft in both hangar and ramp environments, ensuring high-quality workmanship and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise and mentor junior technicians and apprentices, overseeing major inspections and ensuring all assigned tasks meet company and Transport Canada standards.
• Verify documentation and component certification, maintaining accurate records and ensuring all installed parts are properly approved.
• Promote safety, training, and continuous improvement by following the company’s Safety Management System and maintaining a clean, compliant work environment.

Skills and Experience Required

• 5 years of hands‑on related experience.
• Completed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Technician program or equivalent.
