Job description

We are looking for Senior Automation Test Engineer to join our QEA team. You'll be key in boosting software quality by designing and implementing robust automated tests. You'll work closely with our business and Client's QA team to catch defects early, maximize test coverage, and ensure high-quality automated testing for our data-driven applications.

In this role, you will:

• Design effective automated test frameworks and data-driven execution approaches using test design techniques.
• Create or leverage existing automation frameworks, tools, and artifacts to ensure continuous, comprehensive, and autonomous testing processes.
• Develop test cases and scripts based on requirements and user stories.
• Execute functional, system integration, E2E, regression, and re-testing. Use tools like JIRA, Confluence, and qTest for test management, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
• Engage in defect triage and scrum meetings.

Required skills:

• At least 7 years of QA/test experience focusing on automated testing in diverse environments (Cloud, distributed, mainframe, APIs, databases).
• 5+ years of strong experience with test automation tools such as Robot Framework, SoapUI/ReadyAPI, Postman, Selenium WebDriver, and programming languages like Python, Java, SQL.
• Experience in Microservices and API testing.
• Knowledge of QE processes, testing lifecycle, SDLC, DevOps tools (JIRA, Confluence, QTest, HP ALM), and defect management.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and various testing tools.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins and GIT.
• Proficiency with database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, and SQL queries.

Preferred skills:

• Software Quality Certification.
• Experience with Azure, Snowflake, and Data Lake technologies.
