Job Title: Automation QA/SDET

Location: Halifax, NS (Thrice a Week Onsite)

Job Description

Must-have

1. Good knowledge of QE Processes, Testing Life Cycle, SDLC, QE and DevOps tools (JIRA, Confluence, QTest, HP ALM, etc.), and Defect Management processes for application testing, development, and support with hands-on experience in creating test cases, executing manual/automated test cases.
2. Database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, IMS) and SQL experience.
3. Experience in test automation frameworks/tools such as Robot Framework, SoapUI or ReadyAPI, Postman, and Selenium WebDriver, along with development languages like Python, Java, SQL Server stored procedures, etc.
4. Possession of a Computer Engineering, Computer Science degree/diploma or equivalent experience with a minimum of 3 years in a QA/test environment focusing on technical, automated testing across various environments (Cloud, distributed, mainframe, APIs, databases).
5. Knowledge of Testing Methodologies with hands-on experience with various testing tools.
6. Experience in Microservice testing and API testing.
7. Strong problem-solving, design, and analytical skills.
8. Excellent communication skills, test automation vision, and leadership qualities for innovation.
9. Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GIT, etc.
