Job summary

ATS Test is seeking an experienced software engineer to design and implement robust test systems, spanning PLC data acquisition, instrumentation, and third‑party devices. You will work on C#/.NET and C/C++ for IoT and embedded targets, and create SCADA solutions using LabVIEW or Python.

Travel up to 25% is required as projects move to customer sites. Ideal candidates have a strong SDLC background, experience with GitHub/Jira, and a background in real‑time data acquisition and MES/SCADA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software, Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 5 years of professional software engineering experience in production systems and SDLC.
• Experience with GitHub and Jira for project/software configuration management.
• Familiarity with SCADA, MES, TCP/IP, CAN/LIN traces, and real-time data acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Develop C#/.NET for Test Executive and SAMS software products.
• Develop C/C++ for microcontroller targets (Arduino, Raspberry Pi).
• Design and implement SCADA systems using LabVIEW, ATS Test software, or Python.
• Debug and commission test systems on shop floor and customer sites.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to deliver complete functional systems.
