Job summary

ATS Automation Tooling Systems Inc, located in Woodbridge, ON, is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design and implement software for our test systems across industries, integrating hardware with software, SCADA, LabVIEW, and IoT devices.

Responsibilities include developing C#/.NET for Test Executive and SAMS, C/C++ for microcontroller targets (Arduino, Raspberry Pi), building SCADA solutions, debugging on shop floor and client sites, and collaborating with customers and engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in production systems.
• Experience with GitHub and Jira.
• Experience in deciphering TCP/IP, CAN and LIN packet traces.
• Experience with SCADA and MES systems.
• Strong C# and .NET knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop C# and .NET code for Test Executive and SAMS software products.
• Develop software in C/C++ code for microcontroller hardware targets (Arduino, Raspberry Pi).
• Design and implement SCADA systems using ATS Test software packages, LabVIEW, or Python.
• Debug and commission test system programs on the shop floor and on client sites.
• Collaborate with customers, project managers, and engineers to deliver complete systems.
• Document procedures and data structures within source code for maintainability.
• Provide training to customers on machine operation and software principles.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
