We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Senior Automation QA Engineer to improve our Python-based automation projects. You will develop and enhance next-generation Test Engineering Automation solutions within an Agile team for banking clients.

In This Role, You Will

1. Automate features using existing frameworks, providing test estimations, and scripting with Python & Unix.
2. Ensure the quality of testing deliverables and activities.
3. Support QE program implementation, standards, and continuous testing.
4. Utilize automation frameworks and tools for continuous, comprehensive, and autonomous testing.
5. Collaborate remotely with development teams to embed quality within DevOps pipelines.
6. Work with senior QE leads to identify application changes and drive testing strategies.
7. Perform hands-on testing, coaching, mentoring, and manage day-to-day interactions with QE teams and developers.

Required Skills

1. 8+ years in test automation, with at least 2 years hands-on Python experience and 6+ years in other automation tools.
2. Experience with Python, SQL, Unix testing platforms, code reviews, and integration testing automation.
3. Proficiency in automated testing across various environments, including cloud and mainframe.
4. Knowledge of automation frameworks like Cucumber, Robot Framework, SoapUI, Selenium, TestNG, and scripting in Python.
5. Strong SQL skills with complex query writing.
6. Understanding of Testing Life Cycle, Shift-left testing, and Defect Management.
7. Experience with QE processes, methodologies, and tools like ALM, JIRA, and Confluence.
8. Experience testing HDFS/HIVE, Cloudera, Helios, Elastic Search, Kibana, and cloud services.

Preferred Skills

1. Banking domain experience.
2. QA certifications like ISTQB, Agile testing, or banking domain knowledge.
3. Exposure to Gen AI, LLM, Data Engineering.
