Reporting to our Senior Engineering Manager, you’ll be joining a team who have helped build companies like Chime, Twitter, Instacart, E-Trade, McKinsey, Etsy, eBay, LendingTree, Expedia and more.

Requirements

As a Senior QA - Engineer, you will work with our small but mighty development team to build and scale high quality financial products.

Some Of What You Will Be Doing Includes

• Design, build, and scale test automation using technologies such as Appium, Cucumber, Nightwatch, JavaScript, Python, etc, and bring an AI-first mindset to development.
• Strategically incorporate a range of testing types or approaches depending on the need and ROI, including regression, exploratory, integration, and security testing.
• Collaborate with Product and Developers within Agile sprints to test in-flight feature work, triage new issues, and evaluate quality risks.
• Create manual and automation Test Plans to validate web and mobile app functionality. Review Test Plans created by other QA team members and provide thoughtful feedback.
  
  

The Skills Required For This Role -

• You have 5+ years experience in web and mobile test automation development using technologies such as Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, Nightwatch, Puppeteer, Cypress, WebdriverIO.
• You have 5+ years experience working with agile Product Development teams on complex features, where you built a deep understanding of the customer experience and expected product behavior.
• You have taken the lead on designing, building, and maintaining test automation tools that meet business needs.
• You have experience with security testing and testing backend systems or APIs.
• You have a deep understanding of performance optimizations for tests in a cloud environment, such as LambdaTest, BrowserStack, or SauceLabs.
• You're a strong communicator and collaborator.
• You’re highly organized, especially when it comes to team processes, documentation, and bug tracking.
• You have experience working on an Agile team with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, etc).
• You consistently work to upgrade your own knowledge of the latest QA technology, tooling, and methodologies, and you inspire others to follow.
• You have used AI as part of your workflow and are excited about what it can do for testing capabilities.
  
  

Bonus points -

• You have tested products at scale in a SaaS, Payments, or FinTech industry.
• You have familiarity with AWS technologies and/or modern coding languages or frameworks, ie. Golang, Typescript, Python.
