Job summary

BDO Canada seeks a skilled assurance professional to review engagements for private, public and nonprofit organizations, ensuring professional standards and firm policies are followed. You will plan, supervise, and execute assurance engagements while building a portfolio of new and existing clients.

You bring a CPA designation and 4–5 years of audit experience, enjoy diverse industries, value teamwork and high-quality deliverables, and communicate clearly with clients.

Qualifications

• CPA designation.
• 4-5 years of audit experience in public accounting.
• Enjoys working with a variety of client industries.
• Values teamwork, client service and delivering high-quality work.
• Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review assurance and non-assurance engagements for private, public and NPO organizations to ensure that relevant professional standards and Firm policies are followed.
• Effectively plan, supervise and execute assurance engagements.
• Develop a portfolio of new clients and business opportunities with existing clients on an on-going basis.
• Address client issues in a timely manner, following BDO Policy and using your strong technical skills and accounting experience.
• Apply appropriate industry/business knowledge in anticipating, identifying and addressing issues relevant to the client's business.
