Job summary

BDO is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our GTA Audit Practice, with flexibility to work from Toronto or Oakville. You will lead and conduct audit engagements, prepare working papers and financial statements, and coordinate year-end assurance for private clients across industries.

You’ll apply ASPE, ASNPO, IFRS, and US GAAP as needed and develop strong client relationships. We value integrity, collaboration, and client service, and offer a people-first culture with professional development

Qualifications

CPA designation or in progress.
2-3 years of audit experience in the public accounting industry.
Experience with ASPE files and private enterprise audits.
Strong teamwork, client service, and communication skills.
Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

Lead and conduct audit and review engagements, preparing working papers and financial statements.
Coordinate year-end assurance engagements for clients across industries.
Apply ASPE, ASNPO, IFRS, and US GAAP as appropriate to client needs.
Build and maintain positive client relationships and support business development.
Communicate progress and issues regularly with the engagement team.
