Baker Tilly Canada is seeking a Senior Accountant - Audit & Accounting in Toronto. This permanent, full-time role involves preparing compilations, reviews, NTRs and audit engagements, as well as corporate and personal tax returns.

You will mentor staff and collaborate with partners and clients to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines. The ideal candidate has a CPA designation or is pursuing it, with public practice experience and strong communication, detail orientation, and

Qualifications

• CPA, CA or working towards a CPA designation; completion of CFE
• Public practice experience is required
• Experience in both Private and Public Enterprise is an asset
• Superior people and client service skills
• Good written and verbal communication
• Strong attention to detail
• Adept organizational and time management skills, including the ability to meet deadline

Responsibilities

• Preparing compilations, reviews, NTRs, and audit engagements
• Preparing corporate and personal income tax returns
• Mentoring and training staff
• Working under tight deadlines, delivering quality work, anticipating and resolving client issues in a timely manner
