Job summary

BDO Canada LLP's Edmonton office is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Assurance & Accounting team. You will own audit tasks, prepare year-end engagements and tax returns for clients across industries, and perform audits with working papers and financial statements prepared to regulatory standards.

You will build strong client relationships, communicate progress with the team, and contribute to staff training and development, upholding BDO's Integrity, Respect and Collaboration values.

Qualifications

• CPA designation or in progress required.
• 2-3 years of audit experience in public accounting.
• Interest in working with high-growth private and public companies.

Responsibilities

• Effectively handle audit tasks independently or with a team.
• Prepare year-end engagements and tax returns for clients in various industries.
• Perform audits, prepare working papers and financial statements per regulatory standards.
