The successful candidate holds a CPA designation, has 2–3 years of public accounting experience, and demonstrates strong client service, communication, and time management skills. Hybrid work model and competitive compensation offered.

Qualifications

• CPA designation is required.
• 2-3 years of senior experience in a public accounting practice.
• Experience with mid-market/small business/entrepreneurial clients preferred.
• Dedication to client service excellence and building client relationships.
• Excellent time management, multitasking, and meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Audit and review engagements, including planning, financial statement prep, and issue resolution with managers/partners.
• Prepare compilation engagements for owner‑managed businesses in various industries.
• Prepare personal and corporate tax returns and related filings.
• Client correspondence and understanding client businesses to anticipate needs within budget/timelines.
• Train junior staff and mentor; develop tax knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and updates; contribute to firm growth.
