Baker Tilly Canada is seeking a Senior Accountant - Audit & Accounting in Toronto to support compilations, audits, and tax work for a diverse client base. You will mentor staff, manage timelines, and collaborate with partners to deliver high-quality service.

The position emphasizes private and public enterprise experience, CPA/CA progression, and strong client relationships within a collaborative, growth-oriented firm. Hybrid workdays and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• CPA, CA or working towards a CPA designation; completion of CFE.
• Public practice experience is required.
• Experience in both Private and Public Enterprise is an asset.
• Superior people and client service skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Adept organizational and time management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Preparing compilations, reviews, NTRs, and audit engagements.
• Preparing corporate and personal income tax returns.
• Mentoring and training staff.
• Working under tight deadlines, delivering quality work, anticipating and resolving client issues in a timely manner.
• Corresponding with partners and clients; and
• Other duties as assigned.
