Doane Grant Thornton in Toronto is seeking a Senior Associate, Restructuring to join a team handling complex local, regional and national matters with opportunities to grow. Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in business field.
• Experience in accounting, corporate finance, and/or banking.
• CPA or equivalent asset (e.g., CPA).
• Interest in pursuing CIRP or LIT asset.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in valuations of assets and business interests for sale processes, refinancing and restructurings.
• Build complex financial models to assess restructuring opportunities.
• Prepare confidential information memoranda and transaction documentation.
• Support project execution by collecting, integrating and summarizing financial data.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses to support recommendations.
• Liaise with lenders, creditors, debtors, counsel and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to business development through research and proposals.
