About the Position

Reporting to the VP, Capital Markets, the Senior Associate is a licensed Dealing Representative responsible for developing new private client business, understanding Equiton’s real estate products, investor subscription processes, and compliance regulations. You must be energetic, disciplined, and client-focused, with strong sales and client service skills. Candidates should work daily from our Toronto or Burlington, ON offices; this is not a remote position.

Key Functions and Responsibilities
  • Develop a client book with support from the firm for meetings.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Conduct market research to understand client needs.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitors.
  • Achieve sales targets.
  • Understand approved investment products.
  • Participate in corporate events.

Compensation

Competitive earnings with base salary, commissions, and trailers, expected to exceed $100,000 in the first year. Opportunities for rapid career advancement are available for high performers.
