Job summary

SS&C Technologies Holdings in Canada is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to support the financial operations of a large, multi-site hospitality and entertainment organization. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will lead a small finance team, oversee day-to-day accounting, close processes, budgeting support, and liaison with stakeholders.

You will manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger activities, and audits, while driving process improvements and ensuring strong internal

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Strong month-end accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and basic financial analysis.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is an asset.
• Experience in hospitality, retail, or operations-focused environments is advantageous.
• Exposure to business intelligence tools such as Power BI is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger activities, reconciliations, and cash controls.
• Prepare and review daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes and provide financial analysis.
• Monitor labour costs, departmental spending, and operational trends.
• Coordinate audit requirements and maintain internal controls.
• Partner with department leaders to improve financial performance and accountability.
• Contribute to process improvements and reporting enhancements.

• A detail-oriented and process-driven approach
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or mentoring experience would be considered an asset
• Experience within hospitality, retail, food & beverage, or other operationally focused environments would be advantageous
