Job summary

First National Financial LP is seeking an Associate Director, Commercial Financing in Toronto. You will contribute to the production and development of the commercial mortgage portfolio by analyzing financial documents and ensuring policy alignment with insurers and investors.

You will oversee underwriting, credit reviews, and loan commitments, manage complex transactions from start to finish, and collaborate with clients to secure mortgage solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial real estate lending is a must.
• Undergraduate Degree and/or MBA with focus in a Finance/ Real Estate related discipline.
• Experience in financial analysis (balance sheet, income statement).
• Strong organizational skills to manage several ongoing tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and support to analysts on underwriting, credit applications and loan commitments.
• Handle complex transactions from start to finish with minimal oversight.
• Gather due diligence, advance relationships and recommend mortgage solutions.
• Decide on advancement of loan opportunities and credit structuring.
• Analyze financial information for loan sizing, terms, conditions and pricing.
