Job summary

First National Financial is seeking a Fulfillment Analyst, Commercial Mortgages in Toronto to support the processing of loan transactions. You will ensure documentation, due diligence, and approvals align with policies, requirements, and investor guidelines.

You will work with internal teams, external counsel, and third-party lenders to coordinate closing activities, onboarding new deals, and tracking conditions precedent while maintaining risk controls and delivering professional client

Qualifications

• University degree in finance, economics, commerce, law, accounting, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Set up initial onboarding of new commercial mortgage files—internally originated and third-party—into Optimus (internal loan management system).
• Review and bookmark Commitment Letters, CMHC Certificates of Insurance, and other key documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare third‑party instructions reflecting the approved loan structure and transaction-specific requirements.
• Enter and validate all required data in Optimus, including insurance details, tax information, and other peripheral items.
• Maintain organized, up-to-date paperless files with proper naming, filing, and version control.
• Process and track advances on active construction loans, ensuring all conditions are met prior to disbursement.
• Complete special projects and operational tasks as assigned by the Assistant Manager and Manager, Commercial Mortgage Funding.
