Job summary

First National Financial LP in Toronto is seeking an Associate Mortgage Underwriter to ensure broker conditions are met and to coordinate with the broker through the commitment process.

You will manage files from commitment to closing, verify income and down payment details, and support the funding team while specializing in bridges and transfer mortgages. This full-time role offers a competitive compensation package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education and/or equivalent work experience required.
• One year of mortgage experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ability to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage files from commitment to broker conditions met.
• Coordinate with brokers to obtain required information.
• Review documentation to satisfy conditions on the commitment.
• Support funding department and liaison with departments.
• Specialize in bridges and transfer mortgages.
• Complete special projects as assigned by Team Leader/Manager.
