A leading company in retail seeks an Assistant Store Manager to enhance guest services and support store operations. This role involves managing staff, controlling expenses, and ensuring effective merchandising and inventory practices. Ideal candidates will have prior retail or management experience and meet physical demands of the job.
The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining Guest Services. The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage, and managing all aspects of merchandising and inventory control in adherence with all Company policies and procedures.
This position will work up to 38 hours per week. The minimum age requirement for an Assistant Store Manager is 18. The physical demands of the job include standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds for more than 8 hours. Prior retail and/or management experience is required.
