Job summary

IMP Aerospace & Defence in Canada is seeking a senior Asset Management leader to supervise the CP140 AMS group, provide guidance, oversee timesheets and budgets, and liaise with DND and other departments to ensure aircraft availability.

You will develop and maintain Standard Plant Procedures, review activity reports, assess risks in IMP's Risk Management System, and contribute to continuous improvement and safety in a collaborative workplace.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of aircraft engineering and maintenance management is required.
• Familiarity with DND AF9000 series process is highly desirable.
• Technical writing and ability to read aircraft drawings are advantageous.
• Experience with CP140-related systems and release authority is an asset.
• Eligibility for CGP, ITAR and Canadian government security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the CP140 AMS group with guidance, direction, mentorship and support.
• Monitor AMS timekeeping, vacations, overtime, workload distribution and resources.
• Monitor AMS hours and budgets, adjust resources to meet workload demands.
• Coordinate with DND customers and Engineering/Production/Material/Program teams.
• Contribute to program optimization, planning, aircraft modifications and budgets.
• Ensure AMS KPIs are met and participate in monthly activity reports.
• Develop and maintain SPPs and work instructions affecting AMS scope.
• Review and act on risk management, technical notices, and safety procedures.
• Review AMS and Engineering reports for compliance and airworthiness.
