Job summary

IMP Aerospace & Defence in Halifax seeks a Supply Chain Analyst to maximize efficiency of procurement and inventory support for CP140 Aurora OWSS. You will work with Asset Managers, CFSS and DRMIS, ensuring timely replenishment and accurate reporting.

Requirements include post‑secondary education in SCM/Logistics, ERP experience (JD Edwards/PeopleSoft), and strong communication and numerical skills. Security clearances are required; on‑site role with comprehensive benefits bonus.

Qualifications

  • Post‑secondary education in Supply Chain Management/Logistics or equivalent experience in a technical or military environment.
  • Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) or Professional Logistics (P. Log) designation would be beneficial.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite of applications and experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards, PeopleSoft).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational ability and aptitude for working with numbers.
  • Proficient analytical skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to meet objectives with colleagues.
  • Working knowledge of CFSS DRMIS is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare procurement documentation for forecasted requirements to support CP140 Aurora OWSS.
  • Maintain inventory control and management of CP140 PAV materials.
  • Advise Asset Managers on procurement and distribution of goods and services.
  • Collaborate with buyers and other analysts to ensure CFSS parts are replenished to avoid stock‑outs.
  • Liaise with CF base/depot supply personnel and on‑site CF representatives.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate HPR status reports for Asset Managers and OWSS program management.
  • Manage stock codes and updates to the Procurement Authority list.
  • Review and adjust reorder point/quantity to keep CF depot inventory ready.

Position Overview

The primary responsibility will be to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of Supply Chain Services in support of the CP140 Aurora Optimized Weapons Systems Management Program using the Canadian Forces Supply System (CFSS). The position will work in conjunction with Life Cycle Asset Managers as well as company and DND Technical Authorities (TA), to provide responsive procurement and supply support to the CP140 Fleet.

What You Will Do
  • Planning and preparation of documentation associated with the procurement and contracting of forecasted requirements in support of the CP 140 Aurora OWSS.
  • Maintain efficient inventory control and management of assigned CP140 PAV materials.
  • Advise Asset Managers on the procurement and distribution of goods and services necessary to support the fleet.
  • Work effectively with parts buyers, Asset Managers, other Supply Chain Analysts, and material support representatives (internal and external) to ensure all assigned CFSS parts bins are responsively replenished to avoid High Priority Requirements (HPRs) and stock‑out situations.
  • Liaise effectively with Canadian Forces (CF) base/depot supply personnel, and on‑site CF representatives.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate HPR status reports for Asset Managers and for OWSS program management.
  • Management of assigned stock codes and changes to the Procurement Authority list.
  • Maintain efficient inventory control and management of assigned materials.
  • Review / action / reconcile referred demands and recommended re‑order buy requirements.
  • Review / action / reorder point and reorder quantity information from the CFSS and adjust as required to ensure CF depot inventory levels for CP140 PAV items are adequate to ensure a high level of mission readiness.
  • Carry out investigations to determine causes for repetitive material supply problems and initiate or recommend corrective actions.
  • Be responsible for initial cataloguing support, preparing reports on parts replenishment, repair and overhaul and materials disposal.
  • Read, understand, comply with, and suggest improvements for all inventory‑related company procedures and directives.
  • Satisfy customers in a professional manner and perform other functions as required.
What You Will Bring
