Job summary

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions Inc. has partnered with a well established Architecture and Design firm on Vancouver Island in Victoria to recruit a Senior Architectural Technologist.

The role focuses on producing construction documents, coordinating with design teams, and reviewing junior staff work for accuracy and timeliness. The ideal candidate holds an Architectural Technology Diploma/Certification, 10+ years of experience, and is registered or eligible to register with AIBC, with strong

Qualifications

• Architectural Technology Diploma/Certification required.
• 10+ years' experience as an Architectural Technologist, with at least 3 years working knowledge of Canadian by laws and building codes.
• Registered with AIBC as a technologist or eligible for registration in the future.
• Experience working with Revit is essential.
• Experience working with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office is an asset.
• Some Project management and CA experience is desirable.
• Experience working on a variety of projects including some complex ones.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients and design teams to discuss project plans, designs, schedules and proposals.
• Produce high-quality working drawing packages, construction documents, details and blueprints.
• Peer review the work of junior staff and implement markups to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
