Job summary

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking a Junior or Intermediate Architectural Technologist in Toronto. You will prepare full drawing sets in Revit and assist with design development, with some site visits to support project teams.

Ideal candidates have 3 to 8 years of experience, knowledge of the Canadian building code, and a portfolio demonstrating relevant work. Hybrid work arrangement in a Toronto-based architecture firm with diverse project types is offered.

OUR CLIENT

This is a well established Architecture firm are seeking a Junior or Intermediate Architectural Technologist to join their dynamic team in Toronto. This firm work with a variety of projects including institutional, public, education, transit and others - offering diversity across project sectors

THE JOB

As an architectural technologist, you will work collaboratively to produce full sets of drawings and construction documents, including detailing and assisting with design development. Some occasional site visits, will be a part of the role, as well as working with clients and project teams to deliver work in a timely manner.

What's Required

• An Architectural Technologist that can prepare a full set drawings in Revit with minimal supervision


• 3 to 8 years of experience, with knowledge of Canadian building code and experience with researching applicable zoning by-laws


• Good knowledge of BIM is an asset


• Experience working on some public project work is strongly preferred, but multi-family residential and commercial will also be considered


• A portfolio that demonstrates relevant experience


• Ability to step into a fast-paced environment; deal with internal and external stakeholders to move projects forward


• Good written and verbal communication skills - ability to do site visits to collect vital information
