Base pay range

CA$65,000.00/yr - CA$80,000.00/yr

We are looking to hire an Architectural Technologist/Intern Architect to work in a fast-paced dynamic architectural firm specializing in commercial and institutional design. We are looking for an individual with a minimum of 5 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of building design projects.
• Analyze building codes, site requirements and other technical documents and reports.
• Create construction drawings using Revit and AutoCAD, prepare sketches, and outline specifications.
• Coordinate with other consultants, clients and contractors throughout the project.
• Contribute to planning applications and other regulatory application procedures.
• Facilitate design process and coordinate design with other in-house design disciplines.
• Liaise with approving authorities when producing documentation for regulatory approval.
• Administer contracts and project certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Architectural Program.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in an Architectural firm.
• Experience with commercial or light industrial projects a strong asset
• Adhere to strict quality control and drafting standards.
• Exercise precise time management skills, multitasking cad production on multiple projects and extremely tight deadlines.
