TalentSphere is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to lead the Kamloops office, overseeing a diverse portfolio of projects from concept through construction. The role emphasizes design direction, mentorship of the local team and strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of architectural experience, a robust design sensibility and proven leadership, with mass timber experience considered an asset and relocation to Kamloops encouraged.

Qualifications

• AAA Registered Architect with eligibility to obtain AIBC.
• 10+ years of post-graduate architectural experience.
• Strong design aesthetic and leadership skills.
• Experience mentoring and managing architectural teams.
• Mass timber construction experience considered an asset.
• Willingness to relocate to Kamloops, BC.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a diverse range of architectural projects from concept through construction.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the Kamloops team.
• Manage multiple projects, budgets, schedules, resources and deliverables.
• Contribute strong design direction and maintain high architectural standards.
• Oversee project coordination, consultants, quality control and contract administration.
• Build and maintain client relationships with clients, consultants and partners.
• Support business development and opportunities identification.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on office operations and strategic planning.
