AECOM is seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect to lead complex building projects from our Ottawa office. This leadership role focuses on Alternative Delivery (Design-Build, IPD, P3, MDB) for public and private sector clients, guiding multi-disciplinary teams from concept through construction.

The role requires a licensed Architect with strong Revit proficiency, excellent client-facing communication, and the ability to manage tight deadlines across all design phases.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• Licensed Architect with the OAA, or licensed in another province with eligibility to obtain OAA licensure.
• 6+ years of experience on complex building projects.
• Proven experience with Alternative Delivery models (Design-Build, IPD, P3, MDB).
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Client-facing experience with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Eligible for security clearance(s).
• Master’s degree in Architecture or equivalent experience (preferred).
• 10+ years of experience (preferred).
• Experience with Federal or Defense projects (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of National Building Code and Ontario Building Code, building systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead architectural design and project delivery on Alternative Delivery projects
• Serve as the primary client interface, managing expectations and building strong relationships
• Provide strategic oversight for multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring design intent is realized from concept through construction
• Prepare and review design documentation, construction details, specifications, and cost estimates
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical leadership within the team
• Collaborate with internal and external consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
• Contribute to business development, proposals, and project planning initiatives
• Ensure compliance with the Ontario Building Code and established architectural standards
• Lead projects through all phases of delivery (pre-design, schematic design, design development, construction documents)
• Manage consultant coordination, schedules, and deliverables under tight deadlines
• Prepare and coordinate the development of reports, drawings, specifications, and presentation materials
• Manage client relationships and participate in or facilitate meetings with clients, stakeholders, and end users
