City of Powell River seeks an Aquatic Staff III to organize and deliver aquatic programs and events while ensuring participant safety. You will teach swimming and lifesaving, support facility operations, respond to emergencies, and provide excellent customer service.

Role includes training staff and performing light maintenance in a high humidity environment with varied shifts. Morning, afternoon, evening and weekend shifts are expected; a Criminal Record Check is required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma and multiple lifeguard/instructor certifications as listed.
• Scheduled to obtain and maintain required instructor certifications.

Responsabilités

• Organizes and delivers aquatic programs and events.
• Teaches swimming and lifesaving skills to participants.
• Supervises safety, responds to emergencies, and supports facility operations.
• Trains and recertifies Aquatic Staff and maintains records.
