Job summary

The Senior Applications Developer role at Citi Investment Strategies in Mississauga combines hands-on JVM-based development with strong architectural input. You will work on market data loading/streaming, index level calculations, data distribution and hedge calculations, guiding end-to-end design and implementation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Strong knowledge of JVM-based languages and distributed systems.
Experience designing multi-threaded, microservices-based architectures.

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance applications with Java 8+ and related JVM technologies.
Design scalable microservices, streaming data pipelines and event-driven processes.
Collaborate with frontend teams using Angular/React for rich UIs.
Participate in SDLC activities, including testing, deployment and monitoring.
