Job summary
Supply Ontario is seeking a Senior Applications Architect with deep IBM Maximo expertise to lead enterprise‑level architecture and cross‑platform designs. The role requires 10+ years in software development or systems engineering, strong leadership, and extensive public sector experience, including Maximo upgrades and integration with ERP systems.
The position is hybrid, based in Toronto at Metro Hall with 3 days onsite per week, starting October 5, 2026 and ending October 4, 2027, on a contract
Qualifications
- 10+ years hands-on software development or systems engineering with IT leadership experience
- Degree in IT, CS, Engineering, Information Systems, Math, or equivalent
- Experience in advisory/consulting in utility sector
- Experience documenting designs and configuring apps for business processes
- Leading enterprise-wide Cloud transformations
- Knowledge of Cloud adoption, IaC, software-defined infra, private/public Cloud
Responsibilities
- Define the overall structure and relationships within complex applications and technology environments
- Define application structures, reusable components, interfaces, and quality metrics
- Develop cross‑platform applications in large distributed environments
- Monitor systems and understand interactions between components at different levels
- Define architectural standards, data flows, and integration points
- Develop architecture documentation and support enterprise standards
