Job summary

McCarthy Tétrault is seeking a Senior Applications Analyst to join our IT team across Calgary, Toronto, Vancouver or Montreal offices. The role requires 7+ years of progressive IT experience, including 3+ years in a senior capacity.

You will lead end-to-end application lifecycle activities, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive AI-enabled capabilities within enterprise apps. The position offers a hybrid work environment and opportunities to work with modern cloud, automation, and security

Qualifications

7+ years of progressive IT experience with 3+ years in a senior/lead Application Analyst role.
Broad knowledge across modern IT environments including Azure cloud services and the Microsoft 365 platform.
Experience with ITIL framework and Agile/DevOps practices; API and AI-enabled tooling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead analysis, design, testing, and deployment across the application portfolio with a focus on automation and value.
Act as application lead for upgrades, integrations, and new deployments with vendors and internal teams.
Collaborate with IT groups and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specs.
Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure security and compliance in the portfolio.
Mentor and guide junior analysts; partner with security, QA, and AI initiatives.
