Job summary

Pacer Group in Canada is seeking a production support engineer on a contract basis to strengthen stability of critical BFSI systems. Hybrid work arrangement (2-3 days on-site) and a 6-12 month engagement, with pay rate CAD 69-71 per hour.

You will lead L2/L3 troubleshooting, perform root cause analysis, automate recurring fixes, and support change and release activities while mentoring teammates. The role requires 6-8 years of experience and a proactive, governance-conscious approach to incident

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in production support and BFSI domain.
• Review fixes, perform root cause analysis, and validate resolutions.
• Lead troubleshooting to restore service within SLAs and support cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor applications and identify anomalies; implement preventive measures.
• Drive problem management with root cause fixes and automation.
• Support change and release activities to ensure smooth, low-risk deployments.
• Maintain runbooks and documentation; mentor teammates and enforce security/governance standards.
