Job summary

Wipro Limited is seeking an experienced SDET to focus on API testing within a hybrid role in Canada. You will design and maintain robust automation frameworks for backend services, and develop automated tests for REST and SOAP APIs.

Responsibilities include integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with developers and product managers in Agile settings, and performing comprehensive functional and performance tests for microservices-based systems.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in QA Automation/SDET roles focusing on API testing.
• Proficient in at least one OO language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on with Rest Assured, Postman, or Karate and test frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for APIs.
• Develop and execute automated tests for REST and SOAP APIs.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and integration testing for microservices.
