Job summary

Affirm is seeking an experienced analytics engineer to join the Revenue Analytics team. You will develop scalable, trusted data products for revenue teams, turning ambiguous problems into durable data models, metrics, dashboards, automation, governance, and AI-enabled solutions.

Lead architecture for Revenue’s data layer, ensure semantic foundations, and raise data quality across the organization. You will mentor analysts and partners while aligning with stakeholders on architecture and product

Qualifications

• 7+ years in analytics engineering or related technical analytics role
• Deep expertise in SQL, dbt, data modeling, metrics design, data quality, documentation, and modern analytics practices
• Strong working knowledge of BI tools (Sigma, Looker, Tableau) and data warehouses (Snowflake) and platforms (Databricks)
• Strong understanding of AI foundations for analytics (semantic layers, metadata, lineage, testing, governance) and experience applying AI tools
• Proven ability to independently lead complex, ambiguous projects and deliver durable technical solutions
• Experience designing scalable data products for multiple audiences and influencing stakeholders
• Familiarity with Salesforce and supporting GTM or revenue operations teams

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact data product initiatives for Revenue, from problem definition to design, rollout, and adoption
• Advance AI initiatives within the Revenue data ecosystem by identifying use cases and integrating AI into analytics workflows
• Design and build durable data products powering revenue operations, field reporting, and self-service analytics
• Set technical direction for Revenue’s data layer across dbt models, metrics, semantic structures, documentation, lineage, and governance
• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and scale Revenue Analytics through improved data architecture and tooling
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to analysts and cross-functional partners
